When You Get Employment:
Great news — we celebrate your success! Here's what happens:

❓ Frequently Asked Questions
How do I prove I'm unemployed for Concession or Hardship membership?
We accept: Jobseeker's payment letter, Direct Provision letter, social welfare documentation, or a simple statutory declaration. Verification is required once per year and is completely confidential.
Can I switch membership tiers?
Yes! If your employment status changes, just notify us. We have a 2-month grace period when you gain employment (stay at €5/month for months 1-2, then €10/month from month 3). If you lose employment, you immediately revert to Concession rate with free services.
Are membership fees refundable?
Membership fees are non-refundable. However, you can cancel at any time and won't be charged for future months.
What's the difference between your organization and a solicitor?
We are NOT solicitors and cannot provide legal representation in court. We provide immigration guidance, document preparation, letter writing, and advocacy support. For legal representation, we refer clients to the Legal Aid Board or qualified immigration solicitors.
Do you help people outside of Louth/Drogheda?
Yes! We serve ALL of Ireland. Most of our services can be provided remotely via phone, email, and WhatsApp. We're here to help you wherever you are in Ireland.
How long does it take to become a member?
Membership is activated immediately upon registration and payment (or approval for Hardship members). You'll receive a welcome email within 24 hours with your membership details.
What if I can't afford even €5/month?
Apply for Hardship Membership (€0 - completely free). We NEVER turn anyone away due to inability to pay. That's our promise.
Can I volunteer instead of paying membership fees?
Currently, membership fees help sustain our services. However, we welcome volunteers! Contact us at info@emeraldsupportwelcomecentre.ie to discuss volunteer opportunities.
